The J.M. Smucker Co. is offering a Humane Resources internship at one of our manufacturing facilities in Buffalo, NY.

You will work with HR teams to assist in recruiting, onboarding, talent management, workforce planning, and engagement, gaining meaningful experience and professional development. This 100% on-site internship provides exposure to plant leadership, sourcing and interviewing for technical and hourly roles, project work, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or junior standing with educational experience in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Psychology, or a related field.
• AGPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Passion for HR and serving our employee population.
• Strong time-management, communication, and professionalism in an HR environment.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with plant leadership and HR to attract, retain, and engage talent in alignment with the business strategy.
• Support recruiting activities for technical and hourly employees including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
• Coordinate site operations activities such as community relations, employee appreciation events, donations, and communications.
