Job summary

Standard Iron in Hartford, WI seeks a Human Resource Generalist to support day-to-day HR activities at our manufacturing facility. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and policy updates, while partnering with leadership to strengthen workforce effectiveness.

You will ensure compliance with federal/state laws, maintain confidentiality, and provide responsive HR support to both leadership and floor staff in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field, or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support for the manufacturing facility.
• Assist HR Leader with policies, processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Support payroll accuracy and issue resolution.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees; conduct orientation.
• Administer leaves, benefits, and employee relations.
• Respond to employee inquiries and maintain confidentiality.
