Job summary

Colonial-Bag in the United States is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to lead recruitment at the site, coordinate onboarding, and enforce HR policies across employment laws. You will manage benefits enrollment, training, and employee relations while leveraging HRIS and payroll tools to support daily operations.

The role requires strong communication, data-driven HR practices, and experience with OSHA/workers’ compensation programs to maintain compliance and foster a positive manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in HR or a related field with 5–8 years supporting a manufacturing location.
• Experience supporting a multi-shift, hourly workforce.
• Knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping and workplace safety compliance.
• Experience with workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred for workforce communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition efforts at the site, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Oversee orientation and training to integrate new hires smoothly.
• Enforce HR policies in compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Manage benefits enrollment and policy communication.
• Support change management initiatives and employee relations.
• Utilize HRIS/Time and Labor, payroll approvals, and benefits data.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across HR functions including workers’ compensation and OSHA reporting.
• Coordinate training and development programs to enhance workforce skills and safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and manage payroll and personnel records.
