Job summary

Venteon is seeking a HR Generalist to support human resources activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will partner with plant leadership and employees to handle employee relations, recruiting, benefits, compliance and HR administration.

Responsibilities include day-to-day HR support for hourly and salaried staff, investigations, onboarding, orientation, leaves, records, HRIS data, and policy/compliance administration, with a focus on manufacturing operations and employee

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
• 3+ years HR Generalist experience.
• Experience supporting hourly and salaried employees.
• Experience with HRIS/timekeeping systems.
• Manufacturing or plant HR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support for hourly and salaried employees.
• Assist with employee relations, investigations and disciplinary matters.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding activities.
• Coordinate new employee orientation.
• Administer FMLA, leaves of absence and employee benefit inquiries.
• Maintain employee records and HR system information.
• Support workforce changes including transfers, layoffs and recalls.
• Assist with HR policies, procedures and employee handbook administration.
• Support EEO, affirmative action and other employment compliance requirements.
• Coordinate employee training and development activities.
• Prepare recurring HR reports and workforce information.
• Partner with plant managers and supervisors on employee and HR‑related matters.
• Support employee engagement programs and plant events
