Job summary

Venteon is seeking an HR Generalist to support human resources activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will partner with plant leadership and employees, delivering hands-on HR support across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and compliance.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, including experience with HRIS/timekeeping systems and MS Office. Manufacturing HR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of Human Resources Generalist or similar HR experience.
• Experience supporting hourly and salaried employees.
• Strong employee relations and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with HRIS/timekeeping systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Manufacturing or plant HR experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with employees and leadership at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support for hourly and salaried employees.
• Assist with employee relations, investigations and disciplinary matters.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding activities.
• Coordinate new employee orientation.
• Administer FMLA, leaves of absence and employee benefit inquiries.
• Maintain employee records and HR system information.
• Support workforce changes including transfers, layoffs and recalls.
• Assist with HR policies, procedures and employee handbook administration.
• Support EEO, affirmative action and other employment compliance requirements.
• Coordinate employee training and development activities.
• Prepare recurring HR reports and workforce information.
• Partner with plant managers and supervisors on employee and HR-related matters.
• Support employee engagement programs and plant events.
