6 Degrees Search is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Dayton, OH to partner with operations, handling day-to-day HR inquiries and employee relations. The role reports to the VP of HR and collaborates with a team of HR professionals in a fast-paced, diverse manufacturing environment.

The position emphasizes an on-site, hands-on approach with varied responsibilities, including recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and analytics to improve HR support and overall business outcomes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience may compensate.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing HR experience.
• Experience in benefits administration, recruitment, FMLA, and compliance.
• Strong employee relations background.
• Knowledge of FMLA and Workers' Compensation.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary HR contact for hourly staff and production leaders.
• Partner with hiring managers to fill hourly manufacturing roles and onboard new hires.
• Collaborate with operations leadership and HRBPs to resolve issues, support timekeeping, payroll, and recordkeeping.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, training requirements, audits, leaves of absence, FMLA, and Workers’ Compensation.
• Lead engagement, wellness, and recognition programs while tracking HR metrics.
