Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Dayton, OH is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on daily HR inquiries, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance across operations.

You'll partner with HRBPs and operations to improve engagement, administer benefits, and manage timekeeping and leaves. The position requires 3–5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing HR or equivalent.
• Experience in benefits administration, FMLA, compliance, and payroll support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for hourly staff and leaders.
• Partner with managers to recruit and onboard hourly manufacturing roles.
• Collaborate with operations and HRBPs on employee relations and issues.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, audits, and leaves.
• Lead engagement, wellness, and recognition programs with metrics.
