Job summary

Polarsemi in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations in a manufacturing environment, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, HRIS administration, and performance management.

You will partner with production teams and plant leadership to ensure a safe, compliant, and productive workplace, maintain confidential records in HRIS, and assist with policies, training, and HR projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• One to five years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing/plant environment preferred.
• Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HRIS data entry or reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day HR contact for employees, supervisors and managers.
• Post open positions, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, support background checks.
• Assist with development, maintenance, interpretation, and communication of HR policies and compliance programs.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation, including safety, attendance, and policies.
• Partner with supervisors on employee relations, performance management, and investigations.
• Support reasonable accommodation processes and related employee communications.
• Assist with compliance tracking, workforce communications, and employee engagement activities.
• Maintain confidential employee records in HRIS and reporting.
• Support HR process improvements and projects to enhance efficiency and retention.
