Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Dayton, OH is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist to support hourly staff and production leaders from a central HR hub. The role emphasizes timely guidance on policies, attendance, performance and inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, timekeeping and recordkeeping while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies; onsite collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is highly preferred; experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing HR experience or equivalent.
• Experience in benefits administration, recruitment, FMLA, compliance, etc.
• Strong employee relations background.
• Understanding of FMLA and Workers' Compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary HR support for hourly staff and production leaders.
• Partner with managers to fill hourly manufacturing roles and oversee onboarding.
• Collaborate on employee relations, corrective actions, and payroll records.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, audits, leaves, and WC.
• Lead engagement, wellness, recognition programs and HR metrics.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
