Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support hourly staff and production leaders in a manufacturing setting in Dayton, OH. The role focuses on policies, performance, attendance, onboarding and employee relations.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, manage recruitment and onboarding, and handle timekeeping, payroll support, and compliance tasks while driving engagement and HR analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or higher; experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing HR experience.
• Experience in benefits administration, recruitment, FMLA, compliance, etc.
• Strong employee relations background and working knowledge of FMLA & Workers' Comp.
• Proficient with MS Office and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• HR support for hourly staff and production leaders on policies, attendance and performance.
• Partner with managers to recruit, onboard and integrate new hires.
• Resolve employee issues, support timekeeping, payroll and records.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, leaves, training, audits and leaves of absence.
• Lead engagement, wellness and recognition programs while tracking HR metrics.
