Job summary

Unitas Consulting LLC is seeking an HR Coordinator/Recruiter in Shreveport, LA to own the full recruiting and onboarding cycle. You will partner with hiring managers, source candidates across channels, and guide applicants through efficient hiring processes for manufacturing, operations, engineering, and administrative teams.

You will manage pre-employment steps, extend offers, track metrics, and ensure EEOC compliance while representing the company at job fairs and in community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of HR experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience recruiting hourly production staff and salaried professionals.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR/recruiting certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own full recruiting and onboarding cycle from start to finish.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and workforce planning.
• Source candidates through multiple channels and build a talent pipeline.
• Post jobs on platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, workforce boards) via ATS.
• Coordinate interviews and extend offers, manage pre-employment checks.
• Track recruiting metrics and report hiring trends to HR leadership.
• Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation.
• Maintain personnel files and EEOC/compliance adherence.
• Represent the company at job fairs and community events.
