Job summary

SST Direct in McGregor, TX is seeking an HR Coordinator to support full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, skilled trades, administrative, and professional positions.

You will partner with hiring managers, build talent pipelines, manage HR records, onboarding, benefits questions, and employee relations. The ideal candidate has 3+ years HR experience and a related bachelor's, with bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, HR coordination, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
• Experience supporting employee relations within manufacturing, industrial, construction, or hourly workforce environments.
• Recruiting and talent acquisition experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, performance management, HR records, and employee lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, skilled trades, administrative, and professional positions.
• Partner with hiring managers on staffing needs, interviews, candidate selection, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
• Build talent pipelines through job fairs, community events, school partnerships, and workforce development initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and supervisors regarding policies, attendance, benefits, payroll-related questions, and workplace concerns.
• Support employee relations activities, including coaching, corrective action, performance management, engagement, retention, and recognition.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring a professional and welcoming employee experience.
• Manage employee records, HRIS updates, offboarding activities, and other employee lifecycle processes.
• Coordinate training, performance reviews, engagement initiatives, employee events, and recognition programs.
• Assist with HR reporting, workforce analytics, headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and compliance-related activities.
• Partner with HR leadership on process improvements, workforce planning, policies, compensation, employee development, and other HR initiatives.
