Job summary

Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership is seeking a Business Development Advisor who will spend most of the week on manufacturing floors across Massachusetts, helping defense suppliers, semiconductor and electronics makers, robotics builders, and precision machine shops compete and grow.

You’ll act as the quarterback for your territory, building trusted relationships with owners and plant leaders, identifying bottlenecks, and coordinating our team to move opportunities forward while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
• Willingness to travel daily throughout Massachusetts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office to prepare presentations and communications.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing, operations, and technology.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with owners and plant leaders, understand barriers, and coordinate our project managers, technology specialists, and partners to move opportunities forward.
• Take initiative, lead the team, and drive results using MassMEP’s strategy as a playbook.
• Serve as the quarterback for your territory, expanding impact across manufacturing sectors in Massachusetts.
