Job summary

Factory Advisors is seeking a Project Manager - Manufacturing Operations Consultant to lead client engagements on-site across North America, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. The role embeds with manufacturers to deliver measurable outcomes, coach teams, and manage programs with a pragmatic, on-the-floor approach.

The position offers a base salary plus performance bonus, with up to 50% of base, and requires up to 90% travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• 10-20 years of diverse management experience in manufacturing/operations.
• Experience managing projects, budgets and cross-functional teams.
• Strong coaching, leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Case Management: client-facing project oversight and leadership; monitor budgets and deliverables; report progress.
• Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: lead lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Business Development: identify new opportunities and support staffing and project approaches.
• Internal Firm Building: document processes, participate in planning and candidate vetting.
