Job summary

PEAR Core Solutions, Inc. is recruiting on behalf of ITAC, a nonprofit focused on helping NYC manufacturers modernize and grow.

The Business Development Advisor will spend significant time in facilities, building trust with owners and operations leaders and connecting them to practical resources that deliver measurable impact. You will own your pipeline, engage prospects, and guide engagements through to successful outcomes, balancing relationship-building with consultative problem solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, manufacturing, engineering, operations, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Significant hands-on manufacturing, operations, plant leadership, or manufacturing consulting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business through a consultative approach, opening relationships and closing engagements.
• Comfort initiating conversations through networking, LinkedIn, phone outreach, and in-person visits.
• Credibility with ownership and shop-floor teams, with the judgment to shift between them.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with small to mid-sized manufacturers through phone calls, in-person visits, LinkedIn, referrals, and events.
• Own a healthy pipeline in Salesforce, tracking activity, opportunities, and outcomes.
• Write clear, specific proposals and bring engagements to a close in line with ITAC's growth goals.
• Coordinate solutions by connecting manufacturers with ITAC programs and vetted specialists.
• Maintain relationships to deepen engagements and expand work with clients.
