Amcor is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support Operations Finance and the plants using SAP, Power BI, and other reporting tools to drive performance insights.

The role supports the Business Unit Controller and six North American Specialty Containers facilities, with responsibilities spanning month-end close, cost accounting, forecasting, and reconciliations. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with 2–4 years in manufacturing analytics.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2-4 years of experience analyzing financial results, variances, and KPIs in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.
• Understanding of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing variances preferred.
• Familiarity with internal controls, account reconciliations, and financial compliance requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI proficiency.

Aufgaben

• Provide financial analysis, performance insights, and decision support leveraging SAP, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
• Assist month-end close with journal entries and internal controls.
• Support product costing activities, review standard versus actual costs and cost models.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve accounts payable issues.
• Develop forecasts/budgets in collaboration with Operations Finance.
• Execute other special projects as required.
