Amcor is seeking an Accounting Analyst to perform transactional and analytical accounting in support of Operations Finance across multiple North American facilities. The role partners with the Business Unit Controller and plant leadership to drive accurate financial reporting and cost management.

The position emphasizes strong analytical skills, SAP/BI proficiency, and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations while maintaining internal controls and timely close

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2-4 years of experience analyzing financial results, variances, and KPIs within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.
• Understanding of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing variances preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with internal controls, account reconciliations, and financial compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts and analytical findings to both finance and non‑finance audiences.
• Must be an effective team player and interact well with others.
• Strong desire to build a career, develop, and move up in the organization.
• Strong systems aptitude with preference given to candidates with SAP ERP (R3) and/or SAP BW/BPC or JDE experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI (or Tableau) user with the ability to analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends and exceptions, and provide actionable insights to support business decision‑making.

Mansioni

• Provide financial analysis, performance insights, and decision support to Operations, Plant Leadership, and Finance stakeholders.
• Leverage SAP, Power BI, and other reporting tools to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist plants and the Business Unit Controller with month-end close responsibilities including journal entries and internal controls compliance.
• Support product costing activities including reviewing standard versus actual costs, annual cost models, and quoting rates.
• Assist in preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Perform analytical and transactional activities such as calculating freight accruals and resolving accounts payable issues.
• Support Operations Finance with development of forecasts/budgets.
• Other special projects as required.
