Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Accounting Analyst to perform transactional and analytical accounting tasks in support of Operations Finance across the North American plants. The role partners with the Business Unit Controller and requires collaboration with plant controllers and shared services to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will leverage SAP, Power BI, and Excel to identify trends, prepare journal entries, and support forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 2–4 years of manufacturing accounting/finance experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data to actions.
• Knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing variances preferred.
• Experience with SAP ERP and reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis, insights, and decision support to operations and leadership.
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and internal controls.
• Support product costing, standard vs actual costs, and quoting rates.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and forecasts/budgets.
• Handle accounts payable issues and freight accruals with accuracy.
