Amcor Rigid Packaging seeks an Accounting Analyst to perform transactional and analytical accounting to support Operations Finance and multiple plants in North America. You will work with SAP, Power BI and other reporting tools to drive insights, assist month-end close, costing, reconciliations and forecasts.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 2–4 years of manufacturing experience, and strong Excel/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2-4 years of experience analyzing financial results, variances, and KPIs in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
• Understanding of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing variances preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with internal controls, account reconciliations, and financial compliance requirements.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts to finance and non-finance audiences.
• Must be an effective team player and collaborative in cross-functional teams.
• Strong systems aptitude with SAP ERP (R3) and/or SAP BW/BPC or JDE experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI (or Tableau) skills to analyze performance and provide insights.

Responsabilités

• Provide financial analysis, performance insights, and decision support using SAP, Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Assist month-end close with journal entries and internal control requirements.
• Support product costing activities including standard versus actual costs and cost models.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Calculate freight accruals and resolve accounts payable issues.
• Support forecasting and budgeting for Operations Finance.
