Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Accounting Analyst to perform transactional and analytical accounting activities supporting Operations Finance and multiple plants. You will work with stakeholders to manage month-end close, journal entries, and internal controls in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will analyze costs, support product costing, forecasts, and budgets using SAP, Power BI, and other reporting tools, delivering insights to plant leadership and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with internal controls and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and decision support using SAP, Power BI, and reporting tools.
• Support month-end close with journal entries and internal controls.
• Assist cost accounting, standard vs actual costs, and quoting rates.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Compute freight accruals and resolve AP issues.
• Assist in forecasts and budgets.
