Job summary

Amcor LLC in the United States is seeking an Accounting Analyst to perform transactional and analytical accounting activities supporting Operations Finance and multiple plants. The role collaborates with the Business Unit Controller and plant teams to deliver accurate financial insights.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in accounting/finance and 2–4 years of manufacturing finance experience, with strong skills in SAP, Power BI, Excel and cost accounting principles, plus effective communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
2-4 years analyzing financial results, variances, and KPIs in manufacturing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data to recommendations.
Understanding of cost accounting, standard costing, and inventory accounting preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

Provide financial analysis, insights, and decision support to operations, plant leadership, and finance stakeholders.
Assist month-end close with journal entries and internal controls.
Support product costing, standard vs actual costs, and annual cost models.
Assist balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis.
Compute freight accruals and resolve AP issues; support forecasts/budgets.
Handle special projects as required.
