Job summary

Celestica Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment oversees development and sourcing of manufacturing equipment to meet operations goals, including design, qualification, and deployment while optimizing efficiency and safety.

Key duties include leading automation solutions, hardware/software improvements, and validation activities such as FAT/SAT, plus driving maintenance and OEE improvements across multiple machines within a value stream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in manufacturing equipment development and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, procurement and implementation of standard automation solutions.
• Plan hardware and software improvements of automated lines based on OEE data.
• Lead FAT/SAT and equipment validation activities.
• Develop maintenance plans and own performance improvements across multiple machines.
