Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of related experience in manufacturing equipment engineering.
• Experience leading hardware/software improvements and FAT/SAT.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, procurement and implementation of standard automation solutions for manufacturing equipment.
• Plan and lead hardware/software improvements of automated lines and equipment using data (OEE) analysis.
• Lead equipment validation activities such as FAT and SAT.
• Develop maintenance plans and oversee activities to achieve target performance and OEE improvements.
• Support customer product roadmaps using Celestica Automation E2E processes (URS, DFAA, PM workbook).
• Drive problem solving and corrective actions for machine failures, speed loss or quality issues.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to ensure equipment meets product manufacturing requirements.
