Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Process to design, develop, deploy and optimize manufacturing processes that meet quality, cost and delivery goals for customer products. You will lead the assessment and improvement of machines and processes, implementing DOE and statistical methods to maximize throughput and reduce costs.

The role requires designing and deploying new processes, building tooling for complex machines, and guiding product designers on manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes to support customer products.
• Develop application software and tooling for complex machines and processes in manufacturing.
• Lead assessment of machine and process capability using DoE and statistics to optimize cost, throughput and capacity.
• Lead problem solving across single or multistage products and processes for manufacturability and efficiency.
• Provide feedback to product designers on manufacturability and process suitability.
