Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment in Fort Worth, TX to lead the development and/or sourcing of manufacturing equipment. The role includes designing and deploying equipment, validating performance, and supporting programs to optimize efficiencies in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of related experience.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, procurement, and implementation of automation solutions to support customer product manufacturing equipment needs.
• Plan and lead hardware and software improvements of automated lines and off-the-shelf equipment via analysis of Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and data.
• Own communications with multiple stakeholders including solution providers for design, technical information, and specifications.
• Lead and solve complex technical problems and lead equipment validation activities such as FAT and SAT.
• Develop maintenance plans and oversee activities to achieve target performance, maintenance, and OEE improvements for multiple machines.
• Support customer product roadmap using Celestica Automation E2E process and tools such as URS and DFAA and PM workbook.
• Drive problem solving and corrective actions related to causes of machine failures, speed loss or quality issues.
• Work with Process Engineering to ensure equipment is statistically capable of meeting product manufacturing requirements.
