Job summary

General Mills is hiring for a Manufacturing & Engineering Associate in the 18‑month MEA rotational program. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in processing, packaging and manufacturing systems across one of our nationwide plants.

The program culminates in a full‑time leadership or engineering role, with start dates in February 2027 or July 2027 and relocation assistance if eligible. Base pay is $83,000 with total rewards beyond salary.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Food Process, Biological/Biosystems/Agricultural or related degree.
• Graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Building capability through exposure and ownership of processing, packaging and broad manufacturing systems.
• Gaining front line exposure to 24/7 production to drive improvements and eliminate losses.
• Learning from Operators, Technicians and Mechanics to grow coaching and people-development skills.
• Managing programs to gain experiences of capital project ownership, new system startups or initiative leadership.
