Job summary

Brooks Instrument in Hatfield, PA, seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the manufacturing engineering team supporting Semi Thermal products. You will drive process improvements, capital planning, and NPI readiness while partnering with Operations, Quality, Design, and Supply Chain.

You will manage engineering talent, develop strong manufacturing plans, and ensure safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives across multiple shifts in a high‑tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related engineering.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience.
• Minimum of three years of direct people-leadership experience.
• Experience supporting multi‑shift production operations.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality-system environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop manufacturing engineers and technicians for Semi Thermal products.
• Set goals, priorities, resources, and development plans aligned with operations.
• Provide timely support for first‑ to third‑shift production and critical issues.
• Drive process improvements, tooling, and documentation to meet KPIs.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions and sustainment.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, Materials, and Operations on new products.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness for new product introductions and NPI projects.
• Partner with QA to ensure compliance with Brooks Quality System and ISO 9001.
• Develop and manage budgets, headcount, and capital plans for the dept.
• Promote safe, collaborative, and customer‑focused work environment.
