Job summary

Brooks Instrument, headquartered in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Production Supervisor for Industrial products to lead first- and second-shift teams. You will ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity while coordinating with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Supply Chain.

The successful candidate will apply ITW Toolbox and Lean Manufacturing practices, manage daily plans, and develop employees through coaching, training, and succession planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of three years supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience supervising across multiple shifts or split-shift preferred.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, visual management, standard work, or continuous improvement preferred.
• Experience in ISO 9001 or similar quality-system environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and performance management for first- and second-shift employees.
• Oversee overlapping shifts to ensure leadership visibility and effective handoffs.
• Set daily production priorities, staffing assignments, and schedules based on demand.
• Coordinate handoffs between shifts, including production status and materials.
• Apply production plans, quality requirements, and performance expectations consistently across shifts.
• Promote 5S, visual management, and Lean Manufacturing practices across production areas.
