Job summary

Brooks Instrument, a division of ITW, is seeking a Quality Engineering Team Leader at their Hatfield, PA site. The role leads quality engineering activities, supports manufacturing processes, and drives continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

Candidates should have manufacturing QC experience and leadership ability. The position requires a Bachelor’s in engineering with 5+ years in quality engineering, ISO 9001 experience, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership, coordination, and training of others.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• ASQ CQE or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day industrial products quality activities and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Set priorities, balance workload, and direct hourly Quality Technicians.
• Coach and train staff; reinforce standard work and timely issue escalation.
• Monitor performance, communicate risks, and report to Quality Manager.
• Drive continuous improvement, corrective action, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate across functions to integrate quality into product development and manufacturing.
