Job summary

Brooks Instrument, LLC, headquartered in Hatfield, PA, seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the manufacturing engineering team, driving process, equipment, and tooling improvements for Semi Thermal products. The role collaborates across Production Operations, Design, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure safe, cost-effective, and on-time production.

You will own manufacturing readiness for new products, lead problem solving, and advance Kaizen initiatives aligned with ITW toolbox

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum seven years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience.
• Minimum of three years of direct people-leadership experience, including responsibility for engineers, engineering technicians, or other technical employees.
• Experience with new product introduction, process development, PFMEA, engineering change control, tooling, and capital projects.
• Experience using Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, structured problem solving, and manufacturing performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the manufacturing engineers and engineering technicians supporting Semi Thermal products.
• Establish team goals, project priorities, resource assignments, and development plans aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure timely manufacturing engineering support for multi-shift production and prioritize critical issues.
• Own the development, implementation, validation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, ITW Toolbox, error-proofing and standard work across value streams.
• Lead NPI manufacturing readiness, pilot builds, and production release activities.
