Job summary

Brooks Instrument, based in Hatfield, PA, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support production processes, equipment, and documentation. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve methods, reduce waste, and ensure safety and quality in Vacuum and Pressure product manufacturing.

The role emphasizes process development, tooling, and documentation, with involvement in new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives across the Brooks operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing/production engineering preferred.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems preferred.
• Experience with Lean, PFMEA, SPC and continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for Vacuum and Pressure production processes and tooling.
• Identify and resolve safety, quality, equipment, material, yield, and delivery issues with teams.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes and instructions; design fixtures and gauges.
• Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing documentation and standard work.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product introduction and manufacturing readiness activities.
