Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager to lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers across assembly, additive, and machine shop operations. The role focuses on factory modernization, automation, AI, and DFM to speed production and improve quality.

You will partner with Design Engineering, drive continuous improvement, and guide a supervisor and engineers to deliver robust manufacturing processes for high-profile programs such as F-35, ACS, and RMS.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years in engineering, or Master's with 3+ years.
Experience in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Experience leading a team, directly or indirectly.

Responsibilities

Set and drive the strategy and vision for the manufacturing team and align with Production Operations goals.
Lead Manufacturing Engineers and supervisor teams across assembly, additive, and machine shop operations.
Coach and develop engineers to succeed and grow.
Drive adoption of automation, AI, CAM software, and digital work instructions.
Collaborate with Design Engineering early in product lifecycle for producibility and manufacturability.
Evaluate equipment and tooling performance and drive corrective actions.
Use data analytics to identify opportunities and sustain improvements.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders to maintain alignment on process improvements.
