Job summary

Lockheed Martin LM-MFC in the United States is seeking a highly experienced Manufacturing/Production Engineer leader focused on assembly, integration and test operations. You will drive process optimization, tool performance, and data-driven continuous improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate across Quality, ESH, and ordnance safety teams, leverage LM data systems, and guide design-to-manufacture integration to achieve affordability and reliability in defense programs.

Qualifications

Minimum bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 7 years of manufacturing experience.
U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and retain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Experience leading a technical team in a manufacturing factory environment.
Ability to obtain ATF employee possessor status as defined by ATF regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead production engineering activities for LM-MFC across assemblies, integration and test operations.
Evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement using data analytics and SPC approaches.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance, ESH, and Ordnance Safety, Facilities Engineering, and government customers.
Translate design concepts into optimized manufacturing processes and build sequences.
