Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando seeks a Functional Manufacturing Engineer Senior Manager to define a unified manufacturing engineering strategy and align with Production Operations, Program Management, Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Quality to accelerate delivery and embrace cutting-edge technologies.

You will lead, mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams across sites, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement and risk mitigation in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience leading large teams and driving performance.
• 5+ years in engineering in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Design for manufacturing/assembly experience.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Ability to liaison across functions, build relationships.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop a cohesive engineering roadmap for the entire MFC portfolio.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks with measurable performance gains.
• Own budget stewardship and schedule integrity for all initiatives and reporting progress to senior leadership.
• Champion cross-functional collaboration to accelerate delivery.
• Lead and develop geographically dispersed engineering teams, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
