Job summary

Navistar, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in San Antonio to lead a team of engineers overseeing production equipment, tooling, automation systems and process improvements that drive quality, efficiency, and reliability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product launches, champion continuous improvement, and guide the transition to a night shift as operations expand in 2027. Strong leadership required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of product manufacturing experience
Master's degree and at least 4 years of product manufacturing experience
At least 8 years of product manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Manufacturing Engineers for production equipment and tooling.
Drive continuous improvement for safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Partner with AME and product development teams to integrate new products, equipment, and processes into production.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and assign engineering projects that improve operational performance.
Ensure manufacturing equipment and tooling remain reliable, efficient, and capable of meeting production demands.
Oversee the development of specifications, scopes of work, and installation plans for manufacturing equipment and tooling.
