Job summary

International Manufacturing Engineering seeks a Senior Project Engineer – Manufacturing Engineering for the San Antonio Assembly Plant. Lead multi-million-dollar capital projects from concept to production handoff and collaborate across operations, quality, safety, and IT to meet objectives.

The role requires hands-on execution on the production floor, expertise in Atlas Copco torque tooling, and seamless coordination with suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 1+ year in product manufacturing or related field.
Advanced degree may substitute for experience.
Experience leading multi-functional capital projects in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing engineering projects across San Antonio campus (Body, Paint, GA).
Manage capital projects from concept through design, procurement, installation and handoff.
Coordinate with internal resources, contractors, suppliers, and integrators.
Develop SOWs, equipment specs, project plans, and capital requests.
Provide hands-on technical support during installation, startup, and commissioning.
Ensure readiness and meet defined performance metrics prior to production handoff.
Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
Respond to downtime events, troubleshoot equipment, and implement improvements.
