Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to design, implement, and review manufacturing processes and equipment at a single facility. The role focuses on improving efficiency, quality, cost, and safety while deploying capital projects and cost justifications.

The engineer will support new and existing Parker products, apply engineering concepts, and lead small teams on improvement efforts. Strong CAD/CAM, analytical, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related engineering field with 2–5 years of experience.
• Ability to apply engineering concepts to improve manufacturing processes.
• Experience with continuous improvement methods (JIT, process mapping, pull systems).
• Proficient with CAD/CAM systems and reading engineering drawings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web browsers).

Responsibilities

• Designs basic manufacturing processes to improve assembly of products.
• Lead process improvement projects to boost efficiency, yield, safety, and cost.
• Provide guidance on design concepts to optimize equipment use.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for complex processes.
• Maintain manufacturing process documentation.
• Support capital projects development and deployment.
