General Mills, Inc. is offering a 10-week Manufacturing & Engineering Associate Internship designed to prepare you for technical and managerial leadership roles. You will gain exposure to processing and packaging within a broad manufacturing ecosystem at one of our U.S.

plant locations. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, teamwork, and leadership, with a pathway into full-time MEA development after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Engineering degree in chemical, electrical, industrial, mechanical, food process, or related field.
• Graduating Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Strong interpersonal skills, high learning agility, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated people, technical, and process leadership skills, with initiative and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Build capability through exposure and ownership of processing, packaging and broad manufacturing systems.
• Gain front-line exposure to 24/7 production to leverage problem solving and learning agility while driving improvements and eliminating losses.
• Learn from and lead Operators, Technicians and Mechanics to grow coaching, team building and people-development skills.
• Manage programs to gain experience in capital project ownership, new system startups and/or initiative leadership.
