General Mills, Inc. is offering a Manufacturing & Engineering Associate (MEA) Intern position designed to prepare you for both technical and managerial leadership roles within the company.

The internship spans 10 weeks in Summer 2027, with potential progression into a full-time MEA development program after graduation. You will build capability through exposure to processing, packaging and manufacturing systems, while gaining hands-on experience in capital projects and new system startups.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Engineering degree in one of the listed disciplines.
• Graduating Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Strong interpersonal skills, high learning agility, analytical and decision‑making skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to develop people and processes.

Responsibilities

• Experience a robust 10-week internship with potential entry into the full-time MEA development program.
• Gain front-line exposure to processing, packaging and broad manufacturing systems.
• Learn from Operators, Technicians and Mechanics to grow coaching and people-development skills.
• Manage programs to gain experience in capital project ownership, new system startups and initiative leadership.
