Job summary

General Mills is offering a 10-week Manufacturing & Engineering Associate Internship to develop technical and leadership capabilities. You will work across processing, packaging and manufacturing systems, gaining frontline exposure to 24/7 production and learning to drive improvements and reduce losses.

The program targets students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Food Process or related fields, with graduation windows Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Food Process or Biological/Biosystems/Agricultural, or related field.
• Graduating Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.

Responsibilities

• Build capability through exposure to processing, packaging and broad manufacturing systems.
• Gain front line exposure to 24/7 production to drive improvements and reduce losses.
• Learn from Operators, Technicians and Mechanics to grow coaching and people-development skills.
• Manage programs to gain experience in capital project ownership, new system startups or initiative leadership.
