Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Must be graduating December 2027–June 2029.
• Able to work full‑time, 40 hours per week during the summer months.
• Willing to work in a plant and shop environment.
• Willing to work onsite at the Global Artisan Innovation Center in Warren, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing engineering, vehicle build, launch, tooling, equipment, process, quality, or continuous improvement projects.
• Translate product designs and program requirements into manufacturing‑ready processes, tools, equipment, and documentation.
• Participate in vehicle build planning, readiness reviews, and launch activities.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, trades, operators, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to identify issues and create solutions.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, problem solving, and waste reduction activities.
• Create and maintain planning, timing, standard work, work instructions, and process documentation.
