Job summary

Eaton’s EPG CHD ALP Airport Lighting Products division is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Windsor, CT facility. This on-site role requires no relocation and offers a salary range of $86,000 to $126,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.

You will design and optimize manufacturing processes for existing products and new launches, develop work instructions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one (1) year of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (mechanical, manufacturing, electrical).
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50-mile radius of Windsor, CT only.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes for existing products and new launches.
• Develop and maintain work instructions and train others on processes.
• Lead and implement cost reduction initiatives through continuous improvement (kaizen) events.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies and train others to execute projects.
• Support capital plan by tracking projects, spend, and completion dates.
• Analyze discrepant parts and prevent recurrence using 8D and PFMEA.
