Job summary

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing cells of new and existing products in Westminster, MD. The role emphasizes process documentation, tooling, equipment, and continuous improvement in an aerospace setting.

This is a modified first shift (10 am to 7:45 pm). Responsibilities include safety, process design, FPY/OPE improvement, RCPS problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration to address non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, technology, or operations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, or Product Engineer.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• ITAR: U.S. person as defined by ITAR required.

Responsibilities

• Safety, Ergonomics, and Management of Change activities in support of site safety goals.
• Generate and revise Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Work Instructions.
• Design, maintain tooling and industrial equipment for mature or new production.
• Drive FPY and OPE improvement.
• Provide timely support in solving manufacturing issues using RCPS.
• Work Cell Design, Integration and Validation.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to reduce waste and variation.
• Support 5S+ and visual management in manufacturing areas.
• Support Capital expenditures—define equipment, quotes, ROI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address non-conformances and CARs.
