Job summary

Eaton's IS AER FED division is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support operations at our Middlesex, NC location. This onsite role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficient manufacture of components.

The position offers a salary range of $71,000 to $105,000 per year, with potential involvement in capital projects, tooling improvements, and Lean Six Sigma initiatives. Equal opportunity employment and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• This position requires U.S. person status under ITAR and legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing engineering experience; high-volume manufacturing exposure preferred.
• Experience with NADCAP (PRI) / AS9100 or similar industry standards.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications with demonstrated results.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations, Quality, and EHS through safety, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in daily front-line leadership meetings and support production staff and equipment.
• Plan, budget, and execute Engineering Capital Projects; sustain tooling designs for reliability and quality.
• Lead process improvements, cost-out initiatives, and ensure compliance with quality systems.
