Job summary

RealREPP in Imperial, PA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, improve, and sustain manufacturing processes for loading technology systems and garage door production.

This role emphasizes optimizing production efficiency, improving product quality, reducing costs, and leading continuous improvement initiatives, with collaboration across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and scalable processes that meet customer and regulatory

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Manufacturing experience in metal fabrication or loading dock/garage door equipment.
• Strong computer skills (Word/Excel).
• Experience with ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards.
• Analytical problem solver and self-motivated.
• Experience with CREO 3D modeling is a plus.
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Excellent communicator and team player.
• Ability to multitask to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Construct assembly drawings, costed BOMs, and standardized work instructions for new products.
• Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support to loading dock equipment and door production lines.
• Create and maintain installation, service, and training documents with field services.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Develop equipment PM plans with maintenance personnel.
• Lead Engineering Change Requests as needed.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Analyze production data to reduce waste and improve cycle times.
• Provide technical training and support to production personnel.
• Handle special projects requiring cross-resource collaboration.
