Job summary

RealREPP is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the United States to develop, optimize, and sustain loading technology systems and door production processes.

This role focuses on improving efficiency, quality, and cost while driving continuous improvement initiatives; you will partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to ensure safe, scalable manufacturing that meets customer and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Manufacturing experience in metal fabrication, industrial equipment, door systems, loading dock equipment, or related environment.
• Strong computer skills (Word and Excel).
• ERP experience with SAP/JD Edwards/Oracle; SAP preferred.
• Analytical problem solver.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and meet goals.
• Experience with CREO 3D modeling software is a plus.
• Lean methodology experience is a plus.
• Mechanical design experience is a plus.
• Effective communicator.
• Team-oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assembly drawings, costed BOMs, and standardized work instructions for new product introductions.
• Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support for loading dock equipment and door production lines.
• Create and maintain installation, service, and training documents with field teams.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing, equipment, and assembly issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Develop equipment PM plans with maintenance personnel.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and increase productivity.
• Provide technical training and support to production personnel.
• Support additional assignments requiring cross-resource collaboration.
