Job summary

BRP is seeking an Engineer reporting to an Engineering Team Lead to join our manufacturing operations. You will support production in a mixed model assembly environment and help drive process improvements to meet cost, quality, and capacity targets.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 3+ years of experience, proficient in AutoCAD and ERP systems, and able to travel infrequently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or industrial engineering required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, equipment design.
• Experience with time studies and process improvements.
• Experience releasing equipment during product development.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Support production in a mixed model assembly environment.
• Develop and improve assembly processes to meet cost, quality, and capacity targets.
• Specify, procure, validate, and implement tools, fixtures, and equipment.
• Provide plant expertise in tool selection and error-proofing.
• Apply lean manufacturing and DMAIC to identify root cause and implement permanent solutions.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions.
• Implement engineering change notices and meet NPD milestones.
