Job summary

SNC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II in Sparks, NV, to advance manufacturability using DFM/DFA, tooling design, and process engineering. You'll help ensure products are designed for efficient, high-quality production from the start and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate with design, quality and operations teams across the product lifecycle, develop and optimize processes, and implement lean principles such as Six Sigma to drive cost and quality improvements in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
2+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.
Proficiency with CAD software and ability to maintain process documentation.
Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain detailed work instructions and process documentation.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
Design and implement production tooling and fixtures.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement projects.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including production flow, workstation layout, and material handling.
