Job summary

Nabors is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize processes for high-complexity, low-volume equipment. You will bridge Design Engineering and shop floor operations to ensure manufacturability, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include process development, time studies, and hands-on floor support. You will lead design-for-manufacturing initiatives and collaborate across disciplines to improve safety, efficiency, and product reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in capital equipment environments.
• Proven experience developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for mechanical/electrical products.
• Experience supporting design-to-production transitions and manufacturability assessments.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, BOMs, routings, and production data management.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for complex capital equipment and mechanical systems.
• Conduct time studies and evaluate processes to improve labor efficiency and flow.
• Provide manufacturability input during product development to ensure cost-effective production.
• Serve as liaison between Design Engineering and shop floor operations.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and material specs to identify risks and improvements.
• Provide hands-on shop floor support to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Train technicians during first-article builds, pilot runs, and changes.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on materials and manufacturability.
