Job summary

Nabors is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize processes for high-complexity, low-volume equipment. You will bridge Design Engineering and shop floor operations to ensure manufacturability, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include process development, time studies, and hands-on floor support. You will lead design-for-manufacturing initiatives and collaborate across disciplines to improve safety, efficiency, and product reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in capital equipment environments.
Proven experience developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for mechanical/electrical products.
Experience supporting design-to-production transitions and manufacturability assessments.
Working knowledge of ERP systems, BOMs, routings, and production data management.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for complex capital equipment and mechanical systems.
Conduct time studies and evaluate processes to improve labor efficiency and flow.
Provide manufacturability input during product development to ensure cost-effective production.
Serve as liaison between Design Engineering and shop floor operations.
Review drawings, BOMs, and material specs to identify risks and improvements.
Provide hands-on shop floor support to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Train technicians during first-article builds, pilot runs, and changes.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on materials and manufacturability.
