Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support development, improvement, and maintenance of manufacturing processes, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

You will collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize workflow and reduce waste. Responsibilities include leading process improvements, troubleshooting equipment, analyzing data, and driving Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5-7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
• Experience with ERP systems and basic data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and document manufacturing processes.
• Support production by troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased throughput.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and support continuous improvement projects.
• Work with design and engineering teams to ensure products are manufacturable and cost-effective.
• Specify, test, and support installation of new equipment and tools.
• Create and update work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Train production staff on new processes, tools, or equipment.
